Atelier avec le Professeur Massimiliano Bampi (Université de Trente) : The Book between mediality, materiality and intermediality

In connection with 'Strasbourg, Capitale mondiale du livre', this workshop will be an opportunity to discuss the book between mediality, materiality and intermediality. Professor Bampi will open the workshop with a short talk on paratexts between orality and scripturality in late medieval Scandinavian manuscripts. Phd students will then be invited to present their work in progress and their themes relating to the book as a manuscript or printed object, to the relationship between manuscript, printed and digital medium, or to the links between materiality of books and textuality, as well as between text and visual representations. Contributions may cover any period and any area of the Germanic and North European world.
