Karen Blixen (1885-1962) is one of the most erotic and queer writers of Danish/English literature, a fact that at least the Danish reception has tried to ignore for decades. Through a close reading of the short, dense and naughty story of "The Blank Page"/"Det ubeskrevne Blad", I will demonstrate how blasphemous and provocative Blixen can be if we dare to rid ourselves of our heteronormative inhibitions.
